Who’s your caddie?
At Maui Jackpot Golf tournaments,
he’s a friend, guide, gracious host, and mentor. He’s your
forecaddie, and his (or her) job is to help make your tournament round
one of the best of your life
Your forecaddie will take a position ahead of you on all par 4 and par 5 holes to locate drives, help find balls, provide hole descriptions and target lines, attend the flagstick, and make sure your group keeps up with the pace of play. He’s not an instructor, but he can encourage you to focus and give you some advice about Maui activities, restaurants, etc.
Since he’s local, the forecaddie can tell you about the area and give you background information about nearby sights and attractions. He lives here and knows his way around, so he can make valuable suggestions.
The forecaddie is also your official scorekeeper. Hey, you didn’t think you could keep your own score when so much money is at stake, did you?
Because the forecaddie takes care of up to four players at a time, he doesn’t repair divots, clean balls or clubs, rake bunkers, or do any other maintenance tasks. He’s a respected equal whose job is to help make your experience with Maui Jackpot Golf a pleasure, so that all you have to concentrate on is playing a great round of golf.
You must have a forecaddie to take part in Maui Jackpot Golf tournaments. The number of forecaddies is limited, and they’re assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. So to take part in the tournaments, it’s vital to get your reservation in early. Wait too long and there may not be a forecaddie available to handle your request.
The fee for a forecaddie is $100 per round. If you compete as a solo player, you’d pay the entire fee, but if you’re playing with others the fee can be divided between up to four players. Members of a foursome would pay $25 apiece: for instance; a threesome would pay $33 apiece; a twosome would pay $50 apiece. In addition, players must rent a cart for the forecaddie at a cost of $7 to $8 per player. You’ll rent the extra cart for the forecaddie when you sign in at the course, just as you’d rent one for yourself.
Not everyone in your group has to take part in the tournament in order for you to have a round that counts toward your tournament win. But only players taking part in the tournament pay for the forecaddie and receive his help. And of course, only tournament players have a chance to win the purse!
My forecaddie is so calm and reasonable. Good thing one of us is. I can’t believe how exciting this is!

Stop thinking. Let things happen. Be the ball.

I love my forecaddie. I’m taking him home with me.

Real golfers, no matter what the provocation, never strike a caddie with the Driver. The sand wedge is far more effective.
